If you are interested in having a commission drawn for you and would like more information, this is the page for you.
Currently I am only offering graphite pencil commissions, up to A4 size (though I am hoping in the near future to offer larger sizes and different mediums!). Below are examples of recent pieces done for happy customers, and if you would like to see more of my art and my style of drawing, have a browse through my facebook page or gallery.
A4 drawing - April 2016
After a few months of testing the water, I have finally come up with a price list I am happy with, which covers my materials costs, hours and skill. All prices shown here are to provide you with a rough estimate on what your piece will cost - but because every drawing is different and requires different levels of detail, the best way is to contact me for a personal quote.
|Paper Size||Price Guide|
A4 - (210 x 297 mm / 8.3 x 11.7 inches)
| £90 - £105|
A5 - (148 x 210mm / 5.8 x 8.3 inches)
| £55 - £65|
Providing a good, high quality photo and having a chat about what you would like from your drawing is how I figure out the prices, and discussing any other additions you would like added or taken away (for example, cutting strangers out of the backgrounds of family shots, or adding some flowers to a pet portrait).
I aim to draw as accurately and as smoothly as I can, not to make an exact photographic copy, but a piece that has character and is in my own style. I always try and make the faces and expressions as close to real life as I can, as I want you to see your loved one staring back at you, and that is one of my main priorities to the customer.

Getting Booked in
There is currently a waiting list, and I usually request that the order be paid for in full 2-3 weeks before the date you are booked in, to secure your place in my diary. Once full payment is recieved your drawing will take between 1-3 weeks to complete, and will be packaged with care (in a handback envelope and waterproof wallet) and sent first class signed. You will be sent updates of your drawing (and asked for your feedback/thoughts) and you will also receive a high quality scan of your design once the drawing is complete. The scan is to provide you with piece of mind, just in case in the future your own drawing becomes damaged or lost, or if you would like to make more prints of your drawing.
I will also ask if I have permission to share the work-in-progress shots of your drawing and the finished product on my social media sites as well as my portfolio here, and you can choose whether your drawing remains private or can be shared on my facebook and instagram pages.

A4 drawing - April 2016
You can cancel any time, and receive a full refund up until I begin your piece (on your booked in day). But once the drawing process has started you can only receive a half refund if you change your mind, and once the piece is complete no refund can be provided (but postage will always be refunded if you should choose to cancel). The reason I don't offer any refund after the drawing is complete is because you will be sent many updates, and from them you will gather if you like my style of drawing and if it meets your standards, and it gives you plenty of opportunity to change your mind up until the date of completion. Most drawings take between 9-16 hours and to protect myself I have put this policy in place.
